PE statistics

A recent study, made in Greece upon urban men, revealed that, out of the 522 subjects aged 16 to 62, 58.43% reported suffering from early ejaculation disorders (EED) and 17.7% were suffering from lifelong premature ejaculation (PE).
Among those suffering from (EED):
  • 42.6% identified unrelated stress has the main cause;
  • 50.3% believed their problem was psychological;
  • 69.5% did not seek help;
  • 69.5% of those who sought help did it anonymously through the internet.
  • Behavioural treatments are preferred to medical treatments.
Finally, only 13.8% of these men are not satisfied with their treatment.

*It is interesting to note that more than half of these men reported some form of early ejaculation. Furthermore, the global dissatisfaction upon treatments is another indicator that this disorder is still waiting for an efficient and consistent treatment.
